What changed on 30 September 2026
Since 30 September 2026, the minimum co-payment for ducted systems and multi-split systems rated 10kW cooling or above has been $3,000, up from $1,000. Single-head split systems under 10kW are not affected.
The higher co-payment applies to ducted systems at any capacity and to multi-splits of 10 kW or more. Non-ducted systems under 10 kW are unchanged at $200.
