We are based locally at Factory 45, 148 Chesterville Road, Cheltenham VIC 3192. Every job is carried out by Helcro Electrical’s own licensed electricians. We do not subcontract work. If a job falls outside our scope, we will tell you upfront rather than hand it off.

Do you service commercial properties as well as residential?

Yes. Helcro Electrical services both residential and commercial properties across Melbourne’s south east. Commercial work includes three-phase switchboards, industrial lighting, power upgrades, and commercial energy assessments. Commercial customers are also eligible for VEU rebates. Our Accredited Supplier status (A003039) covers both residential and business premises. Qualifying services include air conditioning, heat pump hot water, and lighting upgrades.

Can you install solar and an EV charger at the same time?

Yes, and we recommend it. Combined solar and EV charger installations are among the most common jobs we do across Bayside. We assess the switchboard first: if it needs upgrading for the solar system, we include EV charger conduit and wiring in the same visit. This avoids a second callout and typically saves on labour compared to two separate jobs.

Is the VEU rebate available in my suburb?

The Victorian Energy Upgrades (VEU) rebate is available at all Melbourne addresses. There is no postcode restriction within Victoria. Every suburb in our service area qualifies. As a VEU Accredited Supplier (A003039), Helcro Electrical applies the rebate directly to your invoice on the day of installation. You do not claim it separately or wait for a government refund.
