Solar System Facts

  • Solar panels capture sunlight and convert it into DC (Direct Current).
  • A solar inverter then converts DC into AC (Alternate Current) – which then powers your home in real-time.
  • If you install a solar battery, excess energy is stored locally rather than exported out to the grid).
  • You can easily track your energy use with smart meter.
  • Any excess energy that you generate is pushed out to the grid.

Solar Installation

Once you’ve accepted your solar quote, we’ll send you an agreement which needs to be signed.
One of our accredited installers will contact you to organise a date for installation. This will normally happen two to seven weeks after they contact you.
An installation team will arrive on the day of the agreed installation date. Someone will need to be home for the installation to happen, and, in most cases, the whole installation will take less than a day.
Once we’ve confirmed everything’s working as it should be, we’ll arrange the connection of your bi-directional meter to the grid.
Congratulations! Now you can turn new system on and start saving your money.

Feed In Tariff

Solar energy saves you money by making you less reliant on the electricity grid, but what if you’re not home or you only use a small amount of energy when the sun is shining?
You could save money on your bills by feeding any excess energy back to the grid and what you feed back, you’ll get credit for.
How much credit you get on your electricity bill will depend on the amount you feed back, what plan you’re on, and what state you’re in.

Solar Maintenance

Our installation comes with:

  • 5–year “whole of system” warranty covering workmanship and installation
  • 5–year inverter warranty and a 10-year panel manufacturer’s warranty
  • We also offer additional maintenance, cleaning, and repair options – so you can rest easy knowing your system is operating effectively long into the future. We can provide you with full maintenance report if requested.
